About Our Client:

Our client is a large Insurance company in Malaysia.

Duties & Responsibilities:

·       Manage, mentor and support the Business Transformation team

·   Assist with business investigations; evaluate proposed solutions and suggest alternatives; provide insights into strategy and inform strategic thinking from a business architectural perspective

·     Define/design Business Architecture in support of business strategy (for example, provide the architectural framework and models for the implementation of Business Process Management; identify services for the design and delivery of Service Orientated Architecture)

·       Define new Service Offerings and update supporting Business Architectures (Business Models and Process Architectures) in the define stage of programmes

·     Provide analytical and conceptual direction to Business Analysts and Project Managers throughout the business change lifecycle ensuring alignment and integrity of deliverables with the programme and strategic objectives

·      To assist business and technical designers in understanding design choices and provide recommendations to preserve integrity across the various strands of change and to ensure the delivery of a holistic integrated solution

·       Custodian of the Business Architecture standards, methods as well as the conceptual and logical designs:

o   Provide the architectural framework for business designs

o   Ensure integrity and cohesion of Business Models across projects and programmes

o   Provide storage and version control

o   ensure maintenance of the blueprints

o   Ensure reusability of models, patterns and designs

·       Work with various vendors, business and with ISD:

o   To implement RFA’, CR’s and project in a timeous manner and within budget

o   Participate in the development of IT strategy and the identification and design of IT architectures to support the Business Architecture and the business strategic intent (for example, SOA)

o   Develop and implement common standards and methods for developing, integrating and aggregating the Enterprise Architecture (Operating Model)

Required Experiences:

·       Postgraduate degree, preferably business science or IT related

·       More than 5 years’ experience in designing and delivering Business Architectures (Business Modelling and Organisational/ Process Design)

·       Experience in financial services industry (preferably Life Assurance) is essential

·       Proven track record in successful leadership roles
