About Our Client:

A large Australian Telecommunications company, which is based in Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur.

Duties & Responsibilities:

·       Manage the deployment of applications in a robust and flexible environment.

·       Install and upgrade packaged platforms.

·       Develop and extend recovery procedures and automate manual tasks.

·       Provide release and defect management in conjunction with our development team.

·       Promote a strong control and process environment that guarantees the integrity and continuity of business information.

·       Troubleshoot application bugs and performance problems.

·       Proactively analyse and recommend for system improvements, and produce any supporting documentations.

·       Provide technical support for the Production, UAT and Development environments.

Required Experiences:

·       Degree in Computer Science or related degree field of study, with at least 2 years of experience in supporting application in an enterprise level.

·       Strong experiences in Linux like RHEL/CENTOS, with experiences in tuning and administration skills in J2EE apps and SQL. 

·       Knowledge in Java and web application framework.

·       Proficient in relational databases: MySQL.

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; time management and attention to details.

·       Ability to work with staff at all levels of the organization, as well as external 3rd parties.
